To use, please watch the entire video above for the full tutorial. It is vital that the cups be used properly. Facial cups should never stay stationary (in the same place) on the skin. The cups must always be moving and gliding across the skin. Keeping the cups stationary on the skin can cause bruising, which must be avoided on the face and neck.
- Apply a generous amount of your favourite oil-based serum, such as Sacred Calm, to your face and neck, so that the facial cups can glide smoothy across your skin.
- Gently squeeze the facial cup, apply it to your skin, and release in order to create suction.
- Using one hand to anchor the skin, use your other hand to gently glide the cup across your face as shown in the video, as well as in the diagram.
Contraindications
Facial Cupping is not recommended on:
- Highly sensitive, inflamed or irritated skin
- Rosacea and/or broken capillaries
- Severe acne/cystic acne
- Open sores
- Lumps or any kind of cyst
- Anyone using blood thinners
